dc.descriptionThe adoption and use of Assistive Technology – AT in Specialized Educational Assistance are essential to favor the inclusion of students with disabilities, since they provide access, permanence and participation, by allowing or expanding functionality in school context. A case study was carried out in two stages: retrospective, documental, referring to the analysis of institutional documents; and prospective, exploratory, related to interviews. It aimed to evaluate whether AT was present in the planning and in the care reports and how it was used in the AEE. It was evidenced that AT is present in the daily life of the AEE, but they are not described in the institutional documents.en-US
dc.descriptionA adoção e a utilização de Tecnologia Assistiva – TA no Atendimento Educacional Especializado são fundamentais para favorecer a inclusão de educandos com deficiência, por proporcionarem o acesso, a permanência e a participação ao permitir ou ampliar a funcionalidade no contexto escolar. Realizou-se estudo de caso em duas etapas: retrospectiva, documental, referente à análise de documentos institucionais; e prospectiva, exploratória, com entrevistas. Objetivou avaliar se a TA estava presente no planejamento e nos relatórios de atendimento do AEE e como era utilizada. Evidenciou-se que a TA está muito presente no cotidiano do AEE, mas não é descrita nos documentos institucionais.pt-BR
