dc.descriptionAssistive Technologies (AT) must be specified beyond their functionality goal and consider the factors in which they will be applied, specifically cost and access. The objective was to develop a unilateral crochet device through additive manufacturing. Considering the demands of a hospitalized patient, necessary measurement and positioning were identified, a prototype model was designed through CAD and later manufactured through a 3D printer. The device was successfully tested by two Occupational Therapy students with previous knowledge on bimanual crochet. The AT should go through patient testing in the future.en-US
dc.descriptionTecnologias assistivas (TA) devem ser especificadas além do objetivo de funcionalidade e considerar os fatores contextuais em que será inserida, considerando custo e acesso. O objetivo foi desenvolver um dispositivo de crochê unilateral através de manufatura aditiva. Considerando as demandas de uma paciente hospitalizada, foram identificadas medidas e posicionamento necessários, realizada modelagem do protótipo em CAD e posterior fabricação em uma impressora 3D. O dispositivo foi testado com sucesso por duas alunas de Terapia Ocupacional com conhecimento prévio em crochê bimanual. A TA deve passar por testes com pacientes em trabalhos futuros.pt-BR
